a christmas mini...

I can't believe it is time to start thinking about Christmas already! It seems to come faster every year and I NEVER feel prepared no matter how early I start. This week I got to work with Little Yellow Bicycles Christmas Delight collection for {Paper Patch Crafts} This collection is ADORABLE! The album I used is called Junk in my Punk from {Punky Sprouts} I *heart* these albums BIG time!

Thanks for looking and I hope you all have a great week!

28 September 2010

After an absolutely way too hot summer, fall is finally here in Georgia! This weeks DT assignment for {Paper Patch Crafts} is definitely fitting for our new found weather... Halloween!! I was given Little Yellow Bicycle's Frightful collection and mini album to play with. This mini, while time consuming( not sure I've ever put this much time into a mini album lol) was so much fun! I'm a big fan of Halloween. There's just something about sticking my kids in cool costumes that amuses me :) Since this post is uber photo heavy I'll keep it short... enjoy the pics! :)

change of plans...

Okay so remember how I said I was moving to Germany? Yeah..ummm.. not gonna happen. After we had already sold my car, my dog and half of the contents of my house the Air Force decided that they were over manned at that base and we were no longer needed. To say I'm dissapointed would be an understatement. So for now I will have to tuck my dreams of traveling Europe away and hope that the opportunity arrises again at some point during his career.

In other news, I bought Mr.K this..

I'm probably crazy.. I know. But after wanting one since he was a teenager, to see the massive smile on his face was worth all the hours I will spend worrying about him.

The kids started school last week. Let me just say that I had no idea how much I REALLY missed the peace and quiet while they're at school. I love them dearly, but this momma needed a break from all the bickering, messes and thier friends in the house that come with Summer Break. As for pictures on the first day.. they were less than compliant. Believe it or not this was the best picture I got :(

And I even found time to make a few layouts. I really miss creating, but here lately I'm feeling uninspired. I think I need to pause on scapping for a little and do some painting or alter something. I love to scrap, but when I only do one craft for a long time it kills my mojo. Anyway, here's the layouts I got done.

That's it for now. Off to fold laundry and get ready for the week.

the heat is on..

Summer is in full swing here in Georgia and so is the stress that's building with our move overseas. Who knew there would be so much to do before moving to another country! I may just lose what little mind I have left lol. Thankfully I did get some time to sneak away and be creative. Here's this weeks DT assignment for Paper Patch Crafts.

And if the chaos of everything else wasn't enough, I have 5 extra kids spending the night. Yep, I'm a glutton for punishment. lol Till next time..

buggin.

So {Paper Patch Crafts} recently sent me Little Yellow Bicycle's Snugglebug Girl line to play with. At first I thought to myself "hmmm bugs?" But after digging in I fell in love with these little cuties! Most of the line is focused on babies, but since I'm past scrapping baby photos I had to get a little creative. Here's a wall hanging for L's room and Birthday card for the next little girl in our lives who has one lol.

moving!

There's exiting news at the Klug home right now. Mr.K got a call telling us that in November we're moving to... GERMANY!! Now to some of you it may seem a little odd that I would be this excited, but after 10 years of living in two states that I absolutely hated, this news is like winning the lottery! Plus it has always been a dream of mine to travel Europe and now it's a reality.

Right now my days are filled with googling every bit of information I can get my hands on and trying to learn to speak German (which by the way is ALOT harder than I thought it would be!)

So in 4 months my posts will be filled with images like these..

Pinch me I must be dreaming!!
